Our BIOGRAPHY

Created in 1990, TCC Productions is an Opera and Classical Music productions company that has sought over the years to act in accordance with the highest international quality standards. Our portfolio includes an impressive number of our own productions that have been well received by both public and critics. Since one of our concerns is constant innovation in classical music, we also work in a number of educational areas to accompany the large scale productions we undertake, stimulating and preparing young people to understand and enjoy such works. We are regular partners in the National Opera House and in the Belem Cultural Centre. Along with our professional work we have worked with artists such as Sviatoslav Richter, Mirella Freni, Kathleen Battle, Trevor Pinnock, Harry Christophers, Maria João Pires, Jennifer Smith, Ivo Pogorelich, Grigory Sokolov, Peter Schreier, Katia Ricciarelli, Marc Minkowski, Victoria de Los Angeles, Camerata Academica Salzburg, The English Concert, Les Musiciens du Louvre, among so many others.

His promoter, Tito Celestino da Costa, graduated and teached law at the Lisbon University, but, since childhood, his involvement with the artistic world – music and painting – domintates his professional life. In 1990 he created TCC productions, where he directed and conceived all costume and set designs for wide portfolio operas and special events, as well as all promotional design. He appeared in Spain, UK, and France where he opened the series “Les Concerts du Sauvage” with Maria João Pires in partnership with Le Corum de Montpellier and Radio France.

Most recently, he developed two new projects – Rota dos Monumentos and Rota das Artes – settled in Lisbon.
